Borsh is a old nation and have exited for nearly 600 years now.\\
About 20 years ago Borsch was at the brink of extinction after a bloody defence against invasion by a triad of countries, led by [[necro:thenations:artidol|Artidol]] and joined by [[necro:thenations:kalagorn|Kalagorn]] and financially backed by [[necro:thenations:lou-hai_islands|Lou-Hai Islands]]. The war lasted 16 years and cost millions of people their life but in the end the stubborn defence of Borsch grinded the morale of the triads down leading to internal revolution in Artidol completely overthrowing the old regime and inserting a new but just as popularistic shareholder democray. Revolution alså struck Kalagorn but in a much lesser degree, that revolution is known as the "Cerveza revolution".\\
Lou-Hai islands was not able to continue the war alone and ended hostilities shotly after. There has never been signed a truce between Lou-hai and Borsch so technically these two nations are still at war. Borsch believes and often blames Lou-Hai Islands for still secretly supporting separatist dissidents in the country.

==Da Zona:==
The area devastated by the infamous TWM-Bomb (TransWarpMutagen-Bomb) dropped by The Triad under the great war, only one bomb was ever made, as the creator of it a Dr. Horst Niemeyer was assassinated by Borshian agents in his home in Messer, Artidol on the same night the bomb was sent towards Arvilbinsk by a bomber formation, none of the planes returned but the bomb was detonated contaminating a huge area with warp-radiation and mutagen.\\
The bomb causing physical and meteorological phenomena to manifest throughout the Zone, as well as the mutation of fauna and some humans. The Zone is littered with warp-radiation burst with hazardous effects which seemingly defy physics, having various effects on any object close to or in them.\\
It is said that it is in this zone a lichen with profound healing abilities grows. This Zona lichen is highly valuable and extremely rare.\\
There are even more fantastic items to be found in the area, metal with strange properties used for special ammunition and weapons, water with magical abilities, mutants with prophetic powers and an entity rumored to be a genuine Jinn known as [[necro:npc:the_wish_granter|The Wish Granter]].\\
The area surrounding Da Zona is known as the Badlands, this area is loosely patrolled by law enforcement and military and mostly home to bounty hunters, bandits and rouges.\\
There are occasional settlements in the Badlands all fenced off with walls and guards to keep bandits at bay and even the occasional mutant escaping Da Zona
Da Zona itself is a very dangerous place to enter and the entire area was fenced off with strict rules for entry, and a few military outposts are scattered around the zone itself. There are still random warp-radiation burst inside the zone, including the airspace so only few aircraft dare enter the airspace even today.

==Arvilbinsk:==
Abandoned and lost city in the area of the TWM-bomb site, colloquially known as "Da Zona". Arvilbinksk is a ruin city today haunted by mutants and monsters, no one goes there but the very brave or stupid treasure hunters.\\
