Belters Burden (SLA 6. Maj)

Post by Jaked_One » Thu 14 Apr 2011, 20:30:24

"How can you actually take all his malign bull shit." ColdKiss almost stutters, his anger lending his perfect cheekbones colour.
"How the fuck did this ex-CorpMil, ex-Sane, ex-Somebody with HQ get to push us around. WHO THE FUCK PUT PAWLOW RAMONE "ENDGAME" STYX IN CHARGE!?"

Spittle flies. A sharp fashionable tie is loosened by an elegant manicured hand.

His perfect composture, glinting grey eyes and righetous anger stirs the very urge that made Sharegraves create and enslave these clones.
Sharegraves grows hard behind a desk flown from distant Urth and worth almost as much as his clones.

'Graves smiles softly and shifts his weight behind the ancient Casino Lux hardwood desk. "You forget boy... Styx and Paine are both industrious men",
'Graves smile stiffens, as above, so below, his tired face and reumatic eyes a reminder of what time will do to Coldkiss.

Loveless nods. "They are not fighting men, they just did fight and people believed them soldiers", he adds it as if it was trivia, well timed reminder to a child.
"In his own way Styx is more a kin to the magi of the Ring of Rain: only he happens to be an eater of dead, a binder of souls, a caller of the Unnamable.
Not some dillitant dabler in mysteries..."

Mr. Sharegraves nods like a drunk finaly understanding a sublte joke: Yes, Styx was never his lable. We always described him. He let us.
"All the time he was... His own man. He got to Doom, he felled Mountain, he betrayed the Company and lived."

"He is Progress, I'm just not sure he is the Company's kind... Not that it matters... He and his trice cursed Zeta-, Delta- and Beta-teams..."
'Garves slumps in his leather chair, the ancient desk standing between him and the clones like a massive tombstone.

"Crossing the river Styx will bring us only Paine. So if he needs to kill off the Beta-team... We will assist.
Failure will mean death, you aught to remember Paines record... He was mad long before Styx employed him."

"If they get out of Kalderon. They have to get... Dead."

Loveless nods. Coldkiss looks away.

And Sharegreaves looks into the rocket fuel poured in a beautiful sparkling tumbler on the ancient desk, as if it might lend him some insight.
It doesn't. It just leaves him hoping to the Highest Hegemony... That they don't get out... For surely Hell will follow with them...

N-joy!

:-)
